We have chosen to protect and safeguard our planet through practical measures and objectives.
Our company began a major investment plan in 2010 to acquire new, environmentally friendly technologies. To date, our production site in Fossano and our logistics hub in Trinità are equipped with photovoltaic systems that allow us to produce part of the energy we use ourselves.
The remaining part of the energy we use is entirely covered by GO certificates (Guarantee of Origin) issued by the GSE (Energy Services Manager), that certifies the production of equal quantities from a Renewable Source.
Every month, GO certificates are canceled to cover the monthly consumption and a perfect correspondence is found between the consumption and the data reported in the document issued by the GSE.
We are committed to animal welfare: this is why we have chosen to use only 100% free-range eggs for a more caring and respectful form of farming for laying hens.
We work to increase the recyclability of our packaging and to reduce the quantity of packing materials used to optimize transport, reducing the number of trucks on the road and consequently, the impact on the environment. We have also acquired the Carbon foot print Certification, that is used to measure our environmental footprint.
Small gestures of goodness that bring with them all the joy of having chosen a product that cares about your future and that of those around you.
We always try to offer you the best with tasty, wholesome products. Breakfast is the main meal of the day, which is why we promote a healthy, balanced diet in combination with a healthy lifestyle. In our product portfolio we offer shortbread with specific nutritional benefits, such as Wholewheat and No Added Sugars.
Ours is the story of the Balocco family, which has always been strongly linked to our origins and the local community. It was in Fossano, in the heart of Piedmont, that our passion for confectionery was born, and the ties created with the local community have always accompanied us in our progress. This is why we have continued to support social and cultural initiatives, events and activities in the area over the years.

Finding solutions to reduce food waste is one of the most sustainable choices for a company like ours to make. In fact, food waste occurs at every stage of the supply chain, even during the post-consumption phase. Our goal is to try to reduce it and minimise waste. Our partners in these activities are the Piedmont Food Bank and Too Good To Go.
