How we made it... Nutritional values

The symbol of Balocco Christmas: prepared wth only sourdough, scented candied orange peels from Sicily and delicate raisins. 

Ingredients

wheat flour - icing 20.6% (sugar - egg white* 24% corresponding to 5% of the total ingredients - rice flour - sunflower oil - wheat flour - flavourings) - fresh eggs* 8.4% - sultanas 8.4% - sugar - butter - candied orange peel 5.7% (orange peel - glucose-fructose syrup - sugar - acidity regulator: citric acid) - pearl sugar 5.6% - fresh pasteurized milk - natural yeast (wheat flour - water - yeast) - almonds 2.3% - fresh egg* yolk 1.5% - invert sugar syrup - emulsifiers: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids - cocoa butter - salt - natural flavourings.

May contain other tree nuts, soya and mustard.

Store in a cool and dry place.
